CPI Summer Intern Program
2026 Summer Internship Program application window will open April, 2026
CPI is happy to announce that it is offering its summer lineman internship program for 2025. Qualified candidates have until May 1 to complete the online application.
Required Education and Experience:
- Must be a minimum of 17 years old and a Junior or graduating Senior
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- High school Algebra with a grade C or better
- Live within the Consumers Power service territory
- Enrolled in Line School or plan to enroll
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Letter of recommendation
The hourly rate for the position is $24 (no additional benefits are included). A full description of the position and requirements for application can be found on the job posting. Start and end dates to be determined once a candidate is selected.
